The recycling processes

A.D.M Group - Renewable energy in batteries

Car battery
recycling process

The A.D.M group collects and transports batteries that have ended their lives, to the recycling plant, with a special permit granted to them by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Transportation. There they are crushed and separated into the various materials, most of which go through a recycling process and are sold as raw materials for repeated use, and some are obliged to go to the landfill in Ramat Hovav.

The recycling process helps to reduce the amount of waste for landfill, thereby reducing the toxic chemicals that are absorbed into the soil. In addition, the recycling process significantly reduces production costs and energy consumption.

Separation of
lead for reuse

The lead undergoes a separation process by heating and melting in furnaces, which enables the separation of the slag. Later it is formed into a container in a liquid accumulation state or as solid ingots, and it is sold back for the purpose of producing new batteries.

Separation plastics
for reuse

Another component of the battery is the plastic. This material undergoes a cleaning process and is sold back to the market, for the purpose of producing various products.

Acid and metal
treatment

The acid is kept in sealed water ponds and transferred to a landfill in Ramat Hovav, according to the strict regulations of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Also, metal slag is separated and goes to landfill.

The recycling processes guarantee maximum and optimal reuse of the raw materials that make up the car battery, hence the great importance of recycling car batteries by A.D.M group who specialize in collecting and transporting the batteries to factories and sites authorized for this purpose only.

The recycling cycle of a battery

COLLECTION

A.D.M group collects the used batteries.

RENEW

A.D.M group renews the batteries that can be repaired

TRANSPORTATION

The rest of the batteries are sent for recycling in factories in the State of Israel and to markets abroad.

RECYCLE

The battery contains lead, sulfuric acid, plastic and more

PRODUCTION

The clean raw materials are sold for reuse

Important Information

A.D.M group is licensed by the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Environmental Protection to transport and store hazardous materials. The process of recycling the batteries through A.D.M group ensures that they will not be transferred to hostile factors. The batteries intended for discharge and recycling are sold exclusively to selected industries, thus the A.D.M group guarantees that they will not be used for polluting and hostile purposes.
